  • Do you price match Amazon?
    No! As Amazon sells merchandise in Canada from other countries, we can not match these prices, as the Canadian companies do not offer warranty services on any product that has not been sold by the Canadian distributer. Foto Experts Inc. takes pride in selling product and services that is covered by Canadian law and warranties, to ensure our customers are covered incase of any manufacture defects with your purchase.
  • Is there warranty on Used Equipment?
    We offer a 30 day instore warranty on all used photo equipment. this warranty covers DOA or manufactures defects. No equipment with Physical, Liquid, Sand or any other form of damage will be covered, as ALL equipment has been tested and tried prior to sale to you, we know that it was sold in working condition. The 30 instore warranty will if covered be given to you in form of an instore credit/gift card. for the amount you paid including HST.
  • Do you match prices?
    Yes! We match regular and sales prices from all major stores and retailers.
  • Do you sell used equipment?
    Yes we do sell used photo equipment. We will sell your used photo equipment on a consignment basis. This means that after your equipment has been tested to ensure it is in working condition, that we will come to agreement with you, on how much you want to sell your equipment for, compared to current market value. An agreement will be signed between you and Foto Experts Inc. on the sale of the gear on consignment, meaning that no money will be paid for the equipment up front. We will test, clean the merchandise, to ensure the optimal amount sales price. The equipment will be in stock and advertised for up to 3 months or to sold. We will take a 20% sales fee for selling your old equipment. for example if we sell your camera with a lens for $200.00 you will receive $160.00 For further details please contact us.
  • Do you offer extended warranties?
    Yes! Foto Care Protection Plan for Digital Cameras or Lenses Foto Care Protection Plan can be purchased at time of purchase (or within 30 days) of all New Cameras, Lenses and Telescopes, purchased in store or online. This service contract will cover one digital or video camera body and one built in or external lens. An additional service contract must be purchased for each additional lens or electronic flash. This service contract does not cover batteries, lens caps, power adapters, memory cards, tapes, software, DVDs, remotes, docking stations, cables, accessories, filters or sensor cleaning. Foto Source Canada Inc. nor any Foto Source Member store will be liable for loss of profits (revenue), inconvenience, replacement rental equipment costs, direct, indirect or consequential damages, loss or damage to software and/or digital media. If the item cannot be restored to manufacturer’s specifications, damage is beyond economic repair or if the item has been repaired 3 times for the same repair issue, Foto Source Canada Inc., in its sole discretion, may determine to replace the item with the same or equivalent model, and this service contract will only cover manufacturer’s defects for the balance of the contract. Foto Care Protection Plan can not be purchased on any used equipment that is bought in store or online.
